This is a fabulous, preppy, vintage pair of mens, waist size 29”, plaid trousers made by ASHER. They are mens slacks but if the “shoe fits” a woman certainly could wear them as well and no one would ever know the difference. There is no size label so all measurements are listed below. They are made of 100% wool and the directions say to dry clean only, in fact their last dry-cleaning tag is still attached. These rare, Scottish-clan slacks feature a high-rise waist with belt loops, front zipper with button-tab closure, 2 hidden side-slit pockets, 2 front tucks/pleats, straight legs which slightly taper, front & back pressed crease and 1 inch cuffed hems. This outstanding, wool, plaid fabric which by-the-way is perfectly matched features a large-scale, red, “Royal-Stewart” tartan. If this isn't perfect attire for the Christmas holiday season, I don't know what is? They are in excellent, slightly-used condition with no spots or moth holes.
