This purse is delightful and it's everything you need: vintage, versatile, well made, stylish and fun!

This gold toned bag is a hard body purse, hand covered in a hopsack weave fabric.

Hopsack is not really a type of fabric, but a type of weave. It is a basket-like pattern (see the first image) with subtle variations of colors between the threads. The hopsack weave is not too tight, so it is a very breathable fabric.

It has a white and gold brocade insert down the middle, a boucule Hopsake weave fabric. The inside is lined in a golden mustard fabric with one large side zippered pocket. The purse has a kisslock clasp at the top. All hardware is gold colored metal.

CONDITION: excellents vintage, previously owned, with the exceptions of some wearing of the metal finish

MEASUREMENTS: 10.5" wide x 8.75" tall x 3.5" deep at the base when empty. Strap drop is 5.5"

FUN FACTS: Faye Mell Rosen (1912-2010) was a purse designer in Miami. Her company, Faye Mell Designs by Fleurette Miami created over 2000 purse designs in the 1950s through 70s.
