Acrylic and pastel on panel, 12 x 12 x 7/8 inches. Diving into an exotic wall display of large and smaller cannas and crocosmias off our garden deck. The blades of foliage stretched everywhere and begged different treatment in the sun and shade. Begun with a wash of acrylic, then pastel drawing.
