Vintage Blue Slag Tiffany Style 4 Panel Lamp Shade with Embossed Floral Metal Frame This is one special lamp shade that needs a home where it can glow again. The glass panels are a lovely sky blue marbled look. Each panel is framed by a floral embossed corner piece to hold the glass panels in place. The elegant touch comes in the metal swag of flowers and leaves that adorn each side and wreath the shade. The frame metal-work on this is painted with a soft white paint shops. The swags are painted with the same soft, flat white paint but also have a very light blue paint accent painted over the white. It is hard to tell if this shade was originally a painted piece or if someone painted over what appears to be brass. In the places where the paint has chipped off of the metal a brassy metal shows through. This would make a lovely night light or accent piece in a bedroom or bathroom. It comes as a stand alone shade. The picture shows it over a lamp simply to see the beautiful colors in the glass.
This shade measures 7" at the base of each panel and 2.75" at the top of the glass panels. Each panel is 7" top to bottom. The circular hole in the top of the metal frame is 1.5" across. This is VERY heavy and will be double boxed for safe shipping.
