Beautiful clear heavy light purple stemmed candy dish or fruit bowl. Made by the L.E. Smith Glass Co. this piece stands 8.75" tall. Square dish is 8.5" x 8.5". Square base 3.5" x 4". Very heavy weighing 4.45 pounds. No chips. Top and bottom of foot scalloped. Square base has 4 seams. Stem has vertical ribs and bowl has a basket trellis type on the outside shops. Square bowl has 4 seams . Under dish portion of the bowl this is an extra seam which is curved-research shows this curved line from the mold in same piece-seen if turning bowl over and searching for.
