Note: Dolls are not included unless specified in the description. They may appear in photos in order to show the scale. These sets are great additions to dolls houses, doll rooms, or for display anywhere. I call them “vignettes” because they are like a moment in an otherwise big picture. Enjoy!

The Designer: Hi I'm Mahlah. I'm an Interior Designer based in Aptos California. I am the designer of all the vignettes in my store. As a child I loved decorating my doll houses and that passion turned into a design career as an adult. Creating vignettes is my favorite hobby and I love that I can share them with others. I call them vignettes because they are like a snapshot of a scene ready to be added to a bigger story.

Truly Unique: I use a combination of actual fashion doll items, found objects, decorative objects, and art supplies to create my vignettes. I love mixing in vintage Barbie items and little surprise details. Sometimes I include dolls and animals. I gather inspiration from all over shops so there are always new designs formulating when I sit down to create. The 1:6 scale is suitable for Barbie dolls or other 11 ½” tall fashion dolls.

Who's Perfect? Keep in mind that ALL my creations are absolutely one-of-a-kind. I do not guarantee perfection. These vignettes are like art. The many layers and creative use of objects are truly unique. Many of my materials, furniture, dolls, and accessories are second-hand. That is what makes them so special. Many of my designs include vintage furniture, accessories, clothes, and dolls from the 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's and beyond.

Safety: These vignettes are designed for display and/or to be lightly played with. If purchasing for a young child, please use your best judgment to determine the safety. For example, some objects are glass and metal. Many of my creations are fragile and may not stand up to rough play.
