Spotted shops seashell pendant #1

These seashells are so much fun! You start by building a gather of molten glass at the end of a small blowpipe, then blow a nice fat bubble. Pop a hole for the shell opening, then stretch it out and ruffle the edge. Very carefully, then, you must add a loop at the end, before putting it in the kiln to anneal. This is a fat, round one with a soft pinkish interior set off by the spotted brown and beige exterior. I prefer to show them off on a simple, sterling silver snake chain, available in 20 or 24 inches. shops
