I have had several Chestnut-Backed Chickadee nests in my yard over the years. Each one has been very special. I love these little birds, so sweet. The babies stay with the parents for some time after fledging. The babies would be all a'twitter as the parents would collect suet from one of my many feeders; the babies are quite the little beggars. Anyway, I created a number of original watercolors to reflect how I felt about these tiny birds. The one you see here is the most recent. I also have created some BATIKs of these sweet birds. I will be listing shortly.

This is a gorgeous SILK PRINT which I will create for you. The silk takes the ink beautifully and the colors of this piece are stunning. Silk is a favorite for the 12th anniversary, I am told, and it is quite perfect in that it is of a pair of these sweet birds. It is lovely for any special occasion. The design is a print of an original watercolor that I created a couple of years ago. This is really a VERY SPECIAL DESIGN, completely original and you will not find another like it. The SILK is fine Habotai. The DESIGN is printed directly onto the silk (by me) which is paperbacked to go through the printer and it keeps the silk nicely flat. It is quite lovely; colors are deep. It has staying power.

The included backing PLATE is customizable. I have included several options if you scroll through the pics. I will send you a mock-up for your review.
