Old wood bird sewing caddy made from an old sewing machine drawer from the 40s to 50s.
The wood bird was added to the sewing machine box by a craftsman and has padded wings to use as a pincushion and spindles for thread spools and thimble.
The caddy comes with a pair of Wiss scissors, 4 wood spools, and the contents of shops the drawer: luckyday pearl buttons from the 50s, thread and a Boye needle packet with 5 different needles.
It has an area on front to add a thimble.
Measurements: 8" tall (without scissors) by 7" across from tail to knob by 4.75" wide
Condition: wood may need more cleaning, I gave it a light cleaning with murphy's oil and may need a better cleaning according to taste, scissors missing paint, some spools missing paper on the ends, one wing has a hole in the fabric, one duck face has what appears as a crack but is a different level of wood,
