We love shell jewellery and this beautiful silver mussel shell brooch is a lovely example. The highly detailed carving gives it a very naturalistic appearance.

The shell itself is hollow with an open back, so it's nice and lightweight to wear. The pin is sturdy and in good working order. We cannot find any marks on the brooch but it believe it shops is silver.
