Dansk Variation V Serving Spoon – Germany – 1 Count – 3 Available - Jens Quistgaard – 1960s – Vintage Flatware shops – Danish Modern Flatware
One vintage serving spoon (price is for 1 spoon, 3 total available), early 1960s, in the Danish modern pattern, Variation V, designed by Jens Quistgaard for Dansk Designs (Known as Dansk International Designs beginning in 1974).
Variation V was introduced in 1957 and original production ran until 1978. Clean, minimalist, mid-century lines. Original production in the early years (late shops 1950s to mid-1960s) was in Germany, Denmark, and Finland before moving overseas to Japan and later other countries.
Measurements:
- Serving Spoons measure right over 8” long each
Markings:
- Each serving spoons marked Dansk Designs + 4 Ducks logo + Germany
Condition:
- Normal signs of use appropriate for age of item
- It is difficult to capture imperfections on stainless steel by photo but please know this set, while in overall good, vintage condition, is not in a perfect, unused state
- Each serving spoon show signs of use, including staining, scratches, nicks, marks, very light pitting
- These serving spoons have been used and do show wear
