Product code: Philadelphia 1776-1926 Trinket shops Dish, 95 years old
This is a 95 year old souvenir from Philadelphia, Celebrating 1776 to 1926, Sesqui-Centennial. It is a small white dish, with gold trim and lettering shops. It is a straight curve on one side and the other side has 5 scallops. Porcelain or ceramic. The condition for it's age is good, even great perhaps. some crazing. I posted in the pics damages... to which is a few dimples, a tiny hole that does not go through, some gold paint is worn off. Please see all pictures for condition, shape & colors. The measurements are 6.5x3.25x.75""". I have not seen another one of these yet but maybe you have. It's tough to come up with a price when there is no guidance or direction (unless you want to pay more than the piece might be worth.). I would call this a trinket dish, I would not use this as a dish to put food in. Indeed, this is a piece for a collector - especially those that specifically have a collection of Philadelphia pieces. So, I'm putting a price on it that I think is fair.
