St Anthony and Child in a mini traveling altar. Altoid type boxes are a wonderful venue for making small icons.

Embellished with flowers, rosary type beads, paints, medals and paper craft, small shrines are a sweet way to remember our stories and focus a prayer thought.

I have collected a lot of small statues, and these little shrines are a joy to make. I get out all my flowers and medals and paints and papers and create with abandon!

The red ribbon on the front of the tin is one of the ways people hung milagros to honor the intention. A nod to that tradition.

My shop overflows with all my bits shops and treasures as I work thru a group of small tins.
