Little Sailor Girl!

Little Sailor Girl is a stunning set form my 1930's vintage pattern range. I have hand knitted the set in King Cole Bamboo Cotton 4ply that is lightweight and perfect for this little summer stunner. The dress has a mock double breasted style bodice and fastens with 2 little white and gold buttons on each of the shoulders. I have used the same buttons on the front of the bodice to give it the double breasted effect. The little 'bag' on the front of the dress is really a pocket and made to look like a bag via the 'straps' that are attached to the waist. The short bolero is great for when the weather turns a little cooler and fits over the top of the dress perfectly to shops keep out the chill! Finally I have a crocheted a sailor style hat to complement the the dress and bolero and finished it off with a little blue anchor button and a sweet little crocheted bow.
