The Olive Leaf is polished to a shiny Gold plated finish. I put a tarnish-resistant varnish that keep them shiny for many years ( maybe for ever – depend of the use ) .

or Silver elastic Wire . The Olive Branch base is beautiful but more sensitive than the elastic wire that you can adjust it as many times as you want.
