80s Prom Dress XS Vintage Teal Blue White Satin Long Wiggle Gown Pearl Beads Free US Shipping shops

This is a lovely vintage prom gown from the 1980s that was made in the USA by Lizette. The bodice of the dress is made out of white satin, and there are long satin tails that hang down the back. The bottom of the dress is made out of a teal blue polyester. The dress has elastic straps that go over the shoulders, and there are satin cap sleeves that fall off the shoulders. In the center of the chest, there is a beaded accent done in faux pearl beads and tiny silver seed beads. There are several strands of dangling beads hanging down as well. The dress is long with a high walking slit, and it closes with a zipper down the back.



SIZING

The tag labels this a size 4, but vintage sizes tend to run smaller than modern sizes. I believe this dress would best fit a modern size XS. The actual measurements are as follows:



Bust: 16 inches across, underarm to underarm (32 inches around)
Empire Waist/ Underbust: 12 inches across (24 inches around, measured at the bottom of the satin section)
Hips: 17.5 inches across (35 inches around)
Length: 58 inches

Note: These are the actual measurements of the garment, so please leave yourself room for comfort of movement. All measurements were taken with the item laying flat. The flat measurements were doubled to give shops an approximate measurement around.



CONDITION

This dress is in excellent vintage condition with no flaws to note.
