The brooch's focal features a spray of red, pink and yellow rose blossoms hand cut from a very cracked orphan Woods Ivory Ware English china plate in the "Classic Cottage Ware" pattern. The bezel is shaped to the floral image and is made from sterling and fine silver. The basket has been hand forged with round sterling silver wires that have been either hammered or twisted and embellished with solid silver beads.
