Thank You, Blonde, Madame Alexander, Vintage 8" Doll, HTF, 1990's Classics Collection, Box, Wrist Tag, Welcome Card is circa 1998, as evidenced by her anniversary medallion. She has the cream colored wrist tag rather than the blue one shown in last photo. She was offered in 1997 and 1998, but both versions have the same face and outfit. Photos are shops of sold doll version. After thorough comparison to photos, she is confirmed to be near identical in every regard and detail to this currently offered doll, other than the bangs on this doll are more smooth and even, exposing a bit more forehead. Very nice presentation. Original box has clear label, nice overall shape and finish, exceptions being white tips on lid corners and very minimal surface imperfections that do not detract from nice flat lid top surface. Restringing was not needed due to proper care/storage. (NOTE: Doll descriptive details in 2nd paragraph). She has original bouquet and Thank You note in right hand; her tag on other wrist. She is like new in every respect, hair still with original set, eyes operate freely. All garments, hat, shoes, shoe soles, undergarments and elastic are exemplary. Original thank you card and envelope are not present, frequently seen with this doll, as it was often personalized and kept by the original owner. She is relatively hard to find in this condition. What a beautiful dress on this Wendy face Thank You messenger! With its soft, white cotton ground and variegated embroidered scalloped edge at hem, it has those lovely details we so admire! The same embroidered treatment in modernized roses creates a raised relief of pastel blooms in a scatter print through the body of the dress; absolutely wonderful, and so fresh! Her pink faux straw hat is accented by a white rick rack edge along the wide brim and a triple bow treatment on left side, a typical Madame Alexander unexpected, extra detail. Her bodice has a double dip, subtly echoing the scallop at hem. She wears pink velvet Mary Jane shoes and little lace-edged anklets. Surely this Wendy doll's recipient will know the sender feels she is very much appreciated... deserving of an extra special Thanks!

MY MISSION: I provide a doll for you that is fully ready for display on arrival at your home, beautiful and sturdy. Any flaws I detect which I could not remedy will be documented in the listing and doll priced accordingly. I keep extensive computer files on each listing with doll and box images.)The boxes, being the original homes for the dolls, are in variable condition, dependent on the original owner's care and storage. I will always mention box condition with the listing, or sleep eyes that open manually.

MY PROCESS: I remove from the box to re-style the hair and inspect/correct for anything that might be remiss. I feel this step is more important than listing "never removed from box." There are a few noteworthy exceptions, when I SPECIFICALLY KNOW THE HISTORY of the doll and habits of original owner. My patrons will know there will be no loose snaps, no tangled locks, damaged apron strings, no fragile, weakened rubber bands, ( I restring when needed) no stained or faded clothing or problems with undergarments, no necklaces trapped in the neck or tresses. I restring with elastic cord, the preferred archival choice of "doll doctors."
