Hilmar Derksen, artist name Nilsart, born 1998 in Arnhem is an artist and biologist with a fascination for nature. This is reflected in the drawings and paintings he has made over the years.
Earlier works consisted mainly of realistic graphite drawings on paper, including portraits of Hollywood actors and actresses, but also animals and landscapes.
Later Hilmar focused more on painting and silhouette drawings shops on black backgrounds. He uses various techniques.
