Felted medium-size light vase Purple. The vase is designed and handmade by Irina Moroz.

The external surface is in purple and violet segments with dark purple lines in between. Shining blue, pink, and copper curves sit on the segments to make a fabulous picture. The inner side is dark purple to make a deep contrast. I made the triangular ends on the top of the vessel to add an interesting edge.

I worked in the nuno-felting technique by layering merino wool, handmade wool-silk mix prefelt segments, and viscose fiber with felting, fulling, and shaping afterward. The entire process is labor-intensive.

The decorative vessel is a unique piece of interior design. You can use it as it is or put something inside except liquid(jewelry, dried flowers, keys, a small glass vase with water and flowers inside). The vase is not waterproof.

Care: Dust if needed. Usually, there is shops no need to wash it. However, if you have to clean it, gently hand wash it in lukewarm water with laundry detergent for wool/silk and rinse gently. Squeeze gently with no twisting. Remove excess moisture with a towel for 15-20 minutes. Reshape by hand and stuff the inside with plastic bags, or inflate a small balloon and keep it while drying. Do not tumble in dry.
