Amethyst silk shops corset, size 8

These pictures do not show the true rich purple of this silk. The outer layer is vintage handwoven Thai silk, the lining is black cotton with satin ribbon boning channels holding medium stiffness Rigilene. The front closes with a black busk, and the black satin ribbons and dark metal grommets in the back allow for custom fit. US size 8 but adjustable, the interior measures 29" at the bust and 25.5" shops at the waist, edge to edge. My poor mannequin does not do justice to the shaping that allows the corset to flare out over the hips, but live models are scarce these days.
