Small highly ornate gilded antique wooden oval frame
Wonderfully carved wooden antique frame with gesso decoration in highly ornate relief. The carved square verso measures 5 1/2 x 4 1/2" inches. Please see all photos.. Some small chips but overall in good condition. Some light restoration would make this frame look incredible! There is one area on the inside border of the oval where it appears to shops have a design that is not complete. I am not sure if it was not completed initially or if this pattern has simply worn off over the years. In any case, a really uniquely well hand crafted antique wooden frame!
