Unique handmade cutting boards perfect for many occasions!
I made these cutting boards by cutting planks of wood into small strips, then arranged and glued the strips together. Any holes were filled with clear resin. After the glue cured, I planed the boards even. Then they were cut to size and I sanded and sanded. To finish they were hand rubbed with food grade mineral oil.
The woods I used for this batch were: Maple, Walnut, and Purple Heart. Each cutting board is slightly different due to the nature of the grain of the woods and slight various in the sizes of the strips.
This batch is currently available in two sizes:
10.75 x 16 x 1 Inches (the more rectangular one)
12.25 x 15 x 0.75 Inches (the more squarish one)
I hand coated each board with food grade mineral oil. I recommend adding a fresh coat annually shops, or as needed, to help bring out the colors and preserve the wood.
