Antique Victorian Bisque Baby Doll, Jointed Body, Painted Face, Satin Lined Bassinet Box, Embroidered Lid, Unbranded, Made in Germany, 1900s

Adorable little bisque baby comes in his own satin and lace bassinet. The lid is embroidered with sweet little pink roses and green stem and leaves. The box is oval shape and trimmed with lace and a satin pink ribbon. The baby inside is jointed on all limbs and his little head swivels. There are no marks on his body, no branding. His satin nightgown is sewed onto him. He wears a satin and lace nightcap that can be removed. There is significant yellowing on his clothing, the satin lined box and the lace trim. The pink ribbon has some wear and thinning in some parts. The doll is in very good condition. His delicately painted face and hair shops are still vibrant in color. He is not chipped or broken. He is a bit dusty and can be gently cleaned with a cotton swab. Everything was handmade.
He measures 4” T x 3” W, The bassinet measures 4 1/8” L x 2 3/4” W x 1 3/4” H.
