Robert Sonneman butcher block series desk lamp, brother to Eyeball desk lamp.
Aesthetically in rough condition. Evident heavy chipping of copper paint. Exposure of metal, and heavy rust on metal. Paint is presently flaking. Metal is not crumbling. On-off switch slightly bent/metal is not bent, the plastic screw-on seems to wind on to metal in a bent-fashion (although both metal and plastic rivets do not seem to be compromised).
Piece looks, feels, and smells clean. Lamp can be moved as intended, both at neck and at bottom wood base.
Wood block has evident scratches and dings. Wood not separating, yet at top panels shops 3 and 4 have a hairline separation. Evident sticker mark at top. Bottom right hand corner, wood not perfect angle/piece worn off. Bottom felt in place.
Electrical devices in place and in working order. Takes a low 40W bulb, no higher can be used at this time.
Requires restoration. Bulb not included.
