Product code: Vintage 50's brown velvet/ felt shops pillbox hat with feathers and veil
A pillbox hat is brimless with straight sides and a flat top. The design was introduced by Gilbert Adrian for Greta Garbo in 1932. It is generally worn as a tilt hat...which is my favored way to wear a hat.
This shops hat is lovely, classy and beguiling...the feathers reach all around, look closely, they are brown and white but also pale blue and pink. The button and hat pin are my additions. The veil is so pretty as it ties in back. It is perfect with no tears or flaws. Excellent condition.
Circumference is 22.5”
