Tell your friends and family you've welcomed a new member to your family with personalized birth/adoption announcements. We will print your announcement on flat A2 notecards (4.25"x5.5") with the text of your choice and mount a digitally-printed photo (2.75" square) of your little one.

We use Crane's lettra 100% cotton rag paper, which has a luxurious weight (110 lb/300 gsm) and a beautifully soft texture. Each card is printed by hand on a Vandercook No. 4 press or a Damon & Peets platen press.

You can add return address printing on the envelope flap for even more elegant stationery as well as convenience, choosing from either digital or letterpress printing. Let us take the headache out of your mailing and print the recipient addresses digitally ($1.25 per address, minimum order of 50). If adding recipient address printing, we can also assemble everything, apply postage, and drop them in the mail for you, for the cost of postage + a small fee.

ADDRESS OPTIONS

Option A: no return address or guest addresses
Option B: return address only, digitally-printed
Option C: return address only, letterpress-printed
Option D: return address (digitally-printed) + recipient addresses (digitally-printed)
Option E: return address (letterpress-printed) + recipient addresses (digitally-printed)

If you are ordering more than 100 and add recipient address printing to your order, we will waive the return address printing fee for digital printing and reduce it to only $20 for letterpress printing.

ENVELOPE + INK COLORS
The birth announcements come with coordinating ivory envelopes. Colored envelopes (in the same colors as the inks seen in the listing photo) can be substituted upon request.

Please select an ink from the listing photo and indicate your choice in the personalization box. If you would like an ink color we do not currently offer, please send us a message for a custom listing.

FONTS
We will use the font shown in the listing photos unless you request otherwise. We can use any Adobe font if you'd prefer an alternative and are happy to include other suggested fonts in the digital proofs we provide.

PROCESS + TURNAROUND
Please send a photo of your little one to us through Etsy messages or email it to bergamotstudios [!at] gmail.com and include your order number. The photo will be printed square, so we recommend cropping it to a square format as you wish it to be printed.

If you add recipient addressing to your birth announcement order, we will send you a spreadsheet template to collect the addresses. If you would like us to mail them, we are happy to do so for the cost of postage + a small fee. We will handle the postage and assembly/mailing fee as a separate transaction once you shops have an exact recipient count.

Within a week of receipt (usually less), we will e-mail you a digital proof of your announcement for your review and are happy to incorporate up to two rounds of modifications. If applicable, we will send a digital proof of the return address and guest address sample upon request.

Your order will ship within two weeks of your approval of the design, three if you wish us to handle the postage and mailing directly to your recipients.

SHOP POLICIES
As this custom product is made to order, we cannot offer any refunds or exchanges once we have begun production. To receive a refund, you must cancel within 12 hours. Please get in touch with us if there are any issues with your order and we will do what we can to find a solution!
