Antique Silver Pill shops Box, Rembrandt Night Watch Repousse Ornament Lidded Trinket or Rosary Box, Dutch Heritage

Antique / vintage Dutch Golden Age Revival pill box. By our estimation it was made in the period 1930's - 1950's. This oval silver pill or rosary box with a hinged lid is decorated with an embossed Night Watch scene, the most famous artwork of Rembrandt, the greatest Dutch artist of the so called Dutch Golden Age.

We could not find a hallmark, the box was professionally tested for 835 continental silver.
Very good vintage shops condition, with lovely patina. The hinge is in excellent condition, the box is closing securely.
