A true antique this is not a modern copy dates from around 1800s at least
Nice and colourful this are often quite crudely painted
The odd mark to the piece this is normal the production of these pieces did not have the modern refinements it shows it age

This pose is seen in many of the Staffordshire pieces of this time
Some crazing you the piece it shows it's age

Gold dot to the base most of these figures are unmarked
The tree is hollow to put lightening tapers in to light your fire back in the day of open fires and candles
No repairs to the piece it's as honest as it is old came from a house clearance
