Suni happily serves as sentinel, day and night, constantly on the look out for a face that begs a smile. Oh and Suni translates warm amber candlelight into white light.

This sculpture is part of the Posers series; that is sculpture posing as candle holders, lamps or other utilitarian objects.

Posers are created from antique and vintage collectibles, jewelry and materials; all possess collective unknowable pasts now conjoined, now pointed towards bright shiny futures.
