A large mid-century turned wood vase with a sculptural profile.
The vase has a hand carved and hand painted decorative leaf and grape design carved into the wood. Looks to be one piece of wood as there are no joints.
The dark green matte paint background with burgundy trim has leaves painted in a light green and medium green and grapes painted in burgundy and black matte paint.
The lower edge of the vase has the artists initials, W. K. and a date of 1962 marked with matte black paint.
Excellent condition.
