This unit is white This 12 Cube DIY plastic shelving unit requires no tools for assembly but the included wooden mallet. Directions are not included but it is very easy to figure out and the photos in the ad can guide you. Each cube has an added shelve making it possible for this unit to have 24 shelves. It can store up to 72 pair of shoes. The shelves do not have to be assembled in every or any of the units if you need a larger space such as for clothing, books , blankets or toys. The units can be stacked in various shapes or work as stand alone cubes. Each shelving unit will hold up to 22lbs. Cleaning shops is simple just wipe with a damp cloth. This is an open box item but all parts have been counted and are present. This item has never been assembled or used. It is brand new. The box was just opened to verify all the parts were present. The instruction manual is however missing, which again assembly is very simple. I have 3 in my home and have never used an instruction manual.
