This cowl was hand painted so it is and will always be 100% unique. I could never make a replica if I tried. I used cool pastel colors, blue, purple and green, to invoke the feel of some of the impressionists water color paintings. The dominant color, blue, can have a slight gray tones in certain lights, especially without natural light.

I hand woven this fabric on my loom using a chevron and diamond lace motif. shops I sewed the silk fabric into a tube, then joined the ends to make an infinity scarf with no twist from one end to the other. It is 12 inches wide with a 32" circumference. It hangs 5-7" below the bottom of my chin at it's lowest point on me.

The feel of this is truly amazing. It is everything you want and expect from silk, the softness and the luster. The fabric has been doubled before joined to make the circle, so this scarf also has a lovely drape and weight to it that will lay perfectly all day. And because I hand painted the warp, you can flip it and turn it to emphasize different colors!

A cat does live here. He is kept out of the studio, mostly. But he is a cat and tends to do what he pleases. These scarves have been washed and are stored in a plastic bag in a tote.
