SU OWEN Studio Pottery Ceramic Figure shops Quirky Cat With Fish 8 1/8" 1999

Description:

A very quirky handmade pottery cat figure by Su Owen. This piece shops has been hand modelled from clay and beautifully hand painted (the fish even has a glittery finish!)

I Believe the figure is English but I do not know anything about the artist, it is a skilfully made piece.

Identifying Marks / Makers Marks:

Signed and dated on the base as shown in the photographs.

Age / date of manufacture:

1999.

Size:

Measures 8 1/8" (20.6 cm) tall to the tips of the ears and is 3 3/8" (8.5 cm) x 2 7/8" (7.25 cm) in diameter across the base measured at the widest points.

Condition:

Item is in excellent undamaged condition with no chips, cracks or crazing. This is a hand painted piece and there is a small smudge of the glittery paint used on the fish on the blue trousers at the front (please see the photographs).
