shops Here is a very nice, near mint, second edition of Edward Gorey's staging for the Broadway production of Bram Stoker's Dracula.

The producers of this play could not have done better than to allow Gorey's characteristic depiction of vaguely unsettling narrative scenes in Victorian and Edwardian settings to set the tone for their adaption of this classic.

This set includes a replica (as drawn by Gorey) of the stage sets, props, and costumed characters from the actual production which had a run of over 1,000 performances on Broadway.

All pieces are intact and have not been punched from their die-cut sheets.

The setup is stored in a coffin-like bookshelf style box and includes three sets for each acts and a synopsis of the play as performed.

I think this kit calls for not only an opportunity of an enjoyable working through of the original staging, but also has potential for ad lib role-playing!

Paging Professor Van Helsing to the Sanatorium please....
