Pizzichillo and Gordon Large 9"x6" Studio Art Glass shops Pastel Blue & Pink Cylinder Vase w/ Lip Wrap Signed Dated 1994

Offering a contemporary studio art glass vase by the team of Bruce Pizzichillo and Dari Gordon, Que Pasa Glass of Oakland, CA. Pizzichillo and Gordon are well-known glassblowers who have been creating lovely, abstract mouthblown vessels since 1980.

This large cylinder vase is blown in white with abstract, pastel pink and blue patchwork insets, and topped with a blue lip wrap. Note that the color in the photos is accurate, with a slightly darker, off white tone at the top becoming whiter and less opaque towards the bottom. Its generous size would be ideal for showcasing a large bouquet.

It is signed and dated on the side, where it meets the base: Pizzichillo & Gordon, ‘94.

The bottom has an unpolished pontil scar.
