Overview: Up for sale is this really neat little brutalist/impressionist style midcentury oil painting on canvas. It depicts the famed Arc de Triomphe in Paris, France. I love the clean lines and modernist sensibilities of the painting. It really evokes the work of Sfax and Duchamp. The painting is signed and dated at lower right. It appears to read "Farris" and "70" (the date almost looks like "90" but the age of the canvas and the style point to a 1970 date. A fantastic piece. It is famed in a simple period wood frame. Condition: The shops painting is in excellent condition. The frame is sturdy, but shows a number of dings. Measurements: Painting measures approximately 14 inches high x 11 inches wide. Frame measures approximately 15.5 inches high x 12.5 inches wide.
