1950s floral dress / vintage fifties party dress / black and white sundress shops / small to medium vintage dress / full skirt spaghetti straps
Gorgeous party dress from the 1950s in a fit and flare style. White bodice with a sweetheart neckline and spaghetti straps. Full skirt with a pattern of white and pink flowers on a black background. Crinoline adds fullness. Zipper up the back.
I got this at an estate sale in Lynchburg, Virginia along with a bunch of other beautiful dresses. The owner was either a very skilled dressmaker or she removed the tags from all of her dresses--hard to tell!
*DETAILS*
Best fits: Small to Medium (please check measurements below for exact sizing and compare to a dress you own to ensure proper fit)
Condition: Great vintage--small, light stain on the front bodice, not very noticeable (see photo). Straps have been altered by the previous owner and are very long, folded over, and stitched--you'll probably want to adjust them so they are the right length for you (see photo). The crinoline has a tear. There are belt loops but no belt. And it smells of moth balls no matter what I do! Price reflects these imperfections.
Label: none
Size on tag: none
Material: Bodice looks and feels like linen. Skirt feels like cotton or a cotton blend.
