Rust, copper brown handwoven tribal textile, Karen Hmong fabric, Thai bohemian neutral tunic AW3

This is a hand made fabric by the Karen or Karian ethnic group of Thailand shops and Burma and is hand woven on a traditional back-strap loom.

Because of the narrow size of a back-strap loom (narrow to fit the size of the weavers back), the fabric width is correspondingly narrow and this shirt/tunic is constructed of two separate lengths of fabric, folded over at the shoulder of the garment and hand sewn together both on the sides and in the middle front and back. You may of course wear it as a tunic…or it can be re-purposed into cushions, bags, table runners, throws, etc...

The dimensions are 35 inches long x 22 inches wide per side and without the fringe. The item is new but some anomalies and aberrations in handwoven, jungle village items are normal and should be expected.
