This is a smaller version of the traditional Haapsalu shawl, which can be used as a baby blanket.
This shawl is handmade by myself. I have been making these traditional Estonian shawls for over 15 years now, in other words I have made and sold over 600 of these, all around the world, in different unique patters, colours and wool. These shawls originate from a small town called Haapsalu in Estonia where they have been knitted by the local ladies for over 2 hundred years, which are to this day commonly worn by Estonians and and by people around the world, they are massively sold in Estonian souvenir shops to hundreds of holiday makers every year.

More baby blankets available in my shop.
If you would like a different colour or pattern, feel free to message me and your shawl will be made accustomed to your preference.

Material - 100% cashmere yarn produced in Italy by Loro Piana
Colour is Semi Optical White (bright white)
Shawl is 68 grams in weight.
The dimensions of this shawl are 105cm x 90cm
Pattern - Leaf pattern

Washing instructions: (included with the shawl)
The shawl is best washed by hand in lukewarm water, without handling it too rough and never twisted or rubbed, its best to squeeze gently.
No special washing liquids are required to cleanse. Products such as mild soaps and Fairy washing liquid can be used.
After washing, to keep the shawl in its good original condition I advise to let it dry over a bed, with pins, pin the pointed edges onto the bed so that the shawl lays stretched out, this will preserve the lacy form.
Do not iron!

You are more than welcome to message me if you have any concerns or questions.
