From an collection of antique figural shops majolica tobacco jars or humidors. This one-#5 measures 6 1/2" tall. It is a man with a large blue hat with a red pom pom. There is a small surface chip under glaze as shown-this happened before it was fired with color so it is in the making. Dates to the late 19th Century.
