Pair Black and White Staffordshire Spaniel Dog Figurines. Modeled after King Charles Spaniels so popular during the reign of Queen Victoria. The dogs have sweet faces with some fine detail on the muzzle. I'm not sure when they were made. There are several signs that they may be 19th century: faint glaze crazing consistent with age, no large slip hole on the bottom, signs of wear on the base, soft colored luster on the gold collar, not identical matches in height or modeling, glaze on base matches glaze on body. Be sure to look carefully at photos using shops the zoom option and make your own judgement. Even the early reproductions are quite expensive.

Good condition with no chips or cracks. The stand about 6 1/2 inches tall.
