Kilgore Mfg, USA, CI, c. 1930's, “Fat Tire” Take-Apart Sedan
Up for sale is an original cast iron antique toy car made by Kilgore Mfg, Westerville, Ohio. The sedan was part of the fat tire series that also included a roadster, tow truck, and stake bed truck. The Sedan measures 3.5 inches in length and retains approximately 85% of the original red and blue paint. The four original white rubber tires are on their original cast iron nickel plate axles. The cast iron body is held onto the frame by 2 high-tension wires on the bottom. Toy rolls freely when pushed. The Kilgore Sedan comes sans chips, cracks, breaks, fading or missing parts.
Condition: Excellent plus with shops original paint gloss and minor patina.
