A lovely miniature chair (dollhouse scale 1:12).

Slightly shabby, antique-style elegance. Italian slat style, known sometimes as Roman or Tuscany style.

This is 1:12 scale, but it is not a large, roomy chair. Maybe this sort of chair was meant for show or for guests, so that they wouldn't stay too long! ;)

Assembled from a lightweight woodboard product, I have altered, aged, painted, and distressed it (nontoxic processes).

**NOTE: This product is a lighter weight and a bit more delicate than dollhouse-scale normal wood. It is sturdy enough for display and normal/light dollhouse use, but I wouldn't recommend putting something extremely heavy on it.**

After painting the table in tones of matte black overlaid with a matte very dark smoky purple, I distressed the surface, then burnished and sealed it with a touch of gold mica and natural wax.

The tiny grapes ornament is made of genuine Plaster of Paris, cast by me from a vintage/antique mold.

Height: 2 7/8". Depth: about 1.5". Seat height from floor: 1 58". The width at the widest part (across the top of the arms) is 2". Width of seat: 1".

My miniatures are approximately 1:12 scale, unless otherwise specified. For hats and clothing, be aware that doll bodies and heads, as well as the size of their hairstyles, vary, even at the same scale; if a hat or clothing you purchase here doesn't quite fit your doll, it will still look beautiful displayed.

My miniatures are not considered "toys;" they are collectible pieces of art and therefore not suitable for children.
