A nice example of Arita, the beautiful true blue glaze on sparkling white glazed porcelain, and the dimensional Moriage, raised sugar grained surface glaze, and then glazed again with the raised floral bursts and playful dots of rich forest green and ivory on both sides. The interior strainer is missing and there is very slight wear on the spout and interior, commensurate with age. Fine black dots visible in the porcelain on the bottom are indicative of wood firing. 1868-1945
