Historical Cufflinks
King Edwards VIII (1937) Commemorative Cufflinks
These are a beautiful pair of cufflinks made with extremely unusual King Edward VIII British threepences. Very few coins adopted the Edward VIII cipher before his abdication and so this pair of cufflinks is made from two rare proof silver Edward VIII (1937 – despite his abdication right at the end of 1936) threepences. The cufflinks are made with a swivel back with an attractive diamond pattern on the swivel and are 18 mm in shops diameter.
They represent a unique part of British Royal history and King Edward VIII memorabilia. The solid silver threepences have been carefully cleaned to retain the character of the coins, whilst highlighting the beautiful details of these threepences.
This is a truly unique gift and a chance to own a small piece of history lovingly restored and made into a beautiful pair of cufflinks. They are presented in a luxury wooden cufflink box and cardboard cover to make them the perfect present.
