Paisleys and mandalas in acid tones of hot pink, green and yellow swirl across this Sue Brett Juniors maxi dress. The sturdy fabric, a shiny synthetic that probably won't decompose for a few centuries, is bordered on the bodice, waist and lower skirt with green strips with pink, black and white diamond-shaped thingies. Its gathered skirt sweeps the floor, shops and it zips up the back.

It is marked size 13, but is more like a modern size M. It measures 16 1/2 inches across the shoulders, 17 1/2 inches across from armpit to armpit and 14 inches across the waist. Its length measured down the center of the back is 55 1/2 inches. The hem on its right sleeve is unraveled for about 2 inches; otherwise, I find no flaws.
