A lovely and romantic heavy silver plated bracelet with interchanging rose panels and Dutch buttons or Zeeuwse (Zeeland) Knoop.
The bracelet consists of 4 embossed floral panels and 4 Dutch buttons, the last of which conceals a box claps underneath.
Each panel features three rose flowers in bloom surrounded by leaves.
The etching of the roses were done by machine, but it is exquisitely detailed and life-like.
The bracelet is chunky and a comfortable size and thanks to its panel structure moves elegantly on the wrist.
It would look gorgeous worn with a rocker outfit or a leather jacket on a night out.
The buttons are not real filigree, but a 1940s reproduction made in a single piece of silver plated metal.
The tips of the buttons reveal a different color metal underneath, suggesting the bracelet is silver-plated rather than real silver.
The level of craftsmanship is still amazing given it's a later-period piece and will be worn with confidence and style.
The bracelet weighs 33,9 grams [1,2 oz], approx. 19 cm [7,5"] long, and 25 mm [2"] wide.
It is in very good vintage condition, and with a fully functional clasp.

Condition:
All of my antique items are in mint or excellent condition, unless otherwise indicated in the item description. However, as these are handmade or over a hundred years old objects shops, they may have slight signs of wear or smaller imperfections, but I always try to notify potential buyers about these faults in the descriptions. Please look at the pictures closely, request more photos or additional information about origin and provenance, materials, manufacture marks, etc.
Packing & Shipping:
All my antique and fragile items are packed with extreme care and thought. I always use the large bubble wrap and may even fashion a cardboard protector around the items. Everything is packed with either air bubble packets and/or packing foil, in order to ensure that any items you order do not actually touch the sides of the box.
I pack items so there is zero movement - which is why nothing has ever been broken to date. Some items will be wrapped with bubble wrap and shipped in a small box within a box, depending on the safest solution for each item.
