Obvara shops Raku for your ceramic ware

Get the Obvara (a.k.a East-European Raku) on your ceramic ware.

We will fire your bisqued/greenware and perform the obvara procedure on the red-hot ware (@1650°F)

The obvara process adds beautiful contrast to your work, and is artistically versatile (look up the pre-work you can do to achieve shops a tree-bark/cracked-pot look with sodium silicate). As a bonus the process seals low-fired work to be largely non-porous

You will need ship/deliver your ware to our Northern California studio, and we will return ship in your packaging, or better, after completing the procedure.
