Vintage ARDALT Lenwile China, made in JAPAN, shops VERITHIN, Boy and Girl carrying Egg Shaped Vase or Dish w/ Hand Painted Grapevines - 1960's
This is a very beautiful, vintage pair of ARDALT Lenwile VERITHIN China, boy and girl each carrying an egg shaped vase or dish. The boy is wearing a light blue with yellow flowers, suit of cloths, a light blue stocking cap, brown shoes, and a light yellow cape. The girl is wearing a light pink dress with the yellow and violet flowers on it with a pink/violet breast piece and green bodice with sleeves, a light yellow bonnet, and vibrant violet shoes. The facial features on these are very beautiful and clear. These are hand painted pieces featuring grapevines with ripe grapes painted on and all around the eggs. There is and gold trim painted around the jagged open edges of the eggs, on the cuffs of their sleeves, and on their bodices. These were made in JAPAN in the 1960's.
The boy measures appr. 4-3/4" long from the back side of the egg to the soles of the shoes; 3-7/8 high; and 3" wide.
These pieces are in good to very good condition shops as they have no chips, scratches, or cracks that I can see with a magnifying glass. There is also no checking in the glaze. The each have a sticker on the bottom that reads: "HAND PAINTED, LENWILE CHINA, ARDALT, JAPAN" and an identifier reading: 6434N.
These will make a very wonderful addition to anyone's collection, decor, and/or a fantastic gift!
